Thanks for visiting Soulful Harp. I’m Emma Yates, a harpist specialising in contemporary covers. With diverse training in harp therapy, harp performance and music teaching, my offerings are unique and highly sought after.

Learn the Harp to Relax is an online therapy harp course for beginners and established musicians.

I perform with my harp regularly at weddings and events, playing everything from classical favourites, lively folk melodies to love songs. I enjoy playing for weddings and events alongside teaching the harp from my home music studio in York.  I perform and teach both celtic/folk & pedal harp.  Both instruments are popular for events, each having their own unique sound and look.

Emma studied harp from the age of 8 and has been performing professionally for over 20 years. Emma is conveniently located for events in the heart of York city centre, and enjoys playing at York's top Wedding venues such as The Hospitium, Gray's Court Hotel, Merchant Adventurer's Hall and Merchant Taylors Hall. Emma also travels to events across the UK.
